
Sundy Louise Plagmann, 47, of Ponca City, Oklahoma
lost her long and courageous battle with cancer
August 6, 2007, at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma. Sundy was born February 23, 1960 in
Ponca City, Oklahoma to Roy Dean “P.G.” and Mary Louise
Simpson.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a. m. Thursday,
August 9, 2007 at First United Methodist Church
Tonkawa, Oklahoma with Rev. Michael Brannon
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of
Tonkawa Funeral Home in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
Sundy graduated from Derby High School in Derby,
Kansas. She married Dean K. Plagmann on November 4,
1978 in Derby, Kansas and moved to Ponca City in
1983 raising their family there.
Sundy was a homemaker who took care of her home and
children but she also did domestic work for others
in need. She belonged to the P.T.A and was room
mother for many years as her children grew up. Sundy
was a member of the YMCA for years and an
inspiration for all who knew her.
She was a great mother, a nurturer to all, who loved
to cook and watch her nieces and nephews in all
their activities; but her biggest love was bonding
with her ten month old granddaughter.
Sundy is survived by her husband, Dean of the home;
her daughters, Jenna L. Looper and her husband, Todd
D. and Jessica L. Fisher and her husband, Thomas D.
and her son, Mitchell D. Plagmann all of Ponca City,
Oklahoma; her father, Roy “P.G.” Simpson of Tonkawa,
Oklahoma; her brother, Kyle Simpson and his wife
Lori of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; her sisters, Shaye Ross
and her husband, Troy of Moore, Oklahoma, Shelly
London of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Julia
Looper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Louise
Simpson July 8, 2005.
