OLAND KEMBLE

Oland  Kemble, Jr., 57, of Fort Oakland, Oklahoma passed away December 31, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.  Oland was born January 2, 1950 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Oland Kemble, Sr. and Richenda le Clair-Aguilera.

A traditional Feast will be at 12:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2008 with funeral service at 2:00 pm in the Tonkawa Tribal Gymnasium at Fort Oakland, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Fort Oakland Tribal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Tonkawa Funeral Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Jr. loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching OU Football and going to the casino.  He was a carpenter and helped build the Fort Oakland Casino and many of the homes there.

Jr. and Felicia were married December 21, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas celebrating thirty nine years of marriage. 

He is survived by his wife, Felicia of the home; his daughters, Deann Blackfox-Kemble, Laura Retana; his sons, Jonathan Kemble, Victor Kemble, Ned Kemble, Sr., Christopher Kemble, Bobby Blackfox-Kemble; his sisters, Kathleen Powell, Fredia Mae Parker, Mary Aguilera; his step father, Richard Aguilera; his grandchildren, Ariella, Christina, Matthew, Timothy, Joshua, Sarah, Jamison, and Justice Kemble, Shawnee Flores, Locuis Holloman, Ned “N.J.” Kemble, Jr., Jadion Roubedeaux and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Simone Worthington and a brother, Luther Kemble.

Pallbearers are Victor Kemble, Jonathan Kemble, and Ned Kemble, Sr., Kevin Pettit, Johnny Pettit, Sr. and Thomas Pettit.  Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Kemble, Bobby Blackfox-Kemble, Ned “N.J.” Kemble, Jr., Justice Kemble, Locuis Holloman, Johnny Pettit, Jr., and Jadion Roubedeaux
