You and I are sooo proud of your services and all your friends. Milo. You would have loved seeing all of them and especially the Auctioneer song- You were a great patient at the nursing home and love each and every one. I loved you sooo much and you knew it. You be waiting on me at that Golden Gate but until then I'll take care of all our family here on earth. Name: Jil Whitehead Date: Monday, March 30, 2009 Comments: ..the pain never truly goes away, it just gets smaller and condensed, tucked away in a corner somewhere in the deep recesses of the heart. There it remains at a constant low level ache, which with time may be overridden. There may be times when a site, a smell, a place, a song, an anniversary or birthday will trigger the old memories and the intensity of the grief and loss will return again. These feelings often arrive without warning and can be just as painful making one feel as though he/she was experiencing the loss anew. These are words written by Kirsti A. Dyer, MD, MS. I felt these words so express my love for Milo for just today I saw one of Brad's hats and I couldn't help but think of Milo. I so loved that man. I'm so thankful for Milo and Billie Lou for the little boy they raised that has become my husband and my friend. He's a good and compasionate man. I remember the day I brought Billie Lou home from the hospital after a surgical procedure she had done and Milo stayed home with a neighbor who watched and cared for him that day. Milo was so loving and so concerned and he wanted to take care of Billie Lou. I see that kindness in Brad too. Not a day will go by that I will not think of Milo for I feel him in my heart. God bless you Billie Lou and your family. God's light will forever shine on you. Love, Jil
