Bob and Ann, the Asbury family and Reneau family,

My sincerest condolences in Joy’s passing...what an angel she was! Always so bubbly, warm, kind and busy! I always looked forward to running into her and getting a chance to visit with her...Bob, Judy and Jan, you all I know are so proud of her...she always had a smile on her face and positive attitude, always looking out for the underdog, that was Joy! ... living proof of her Christian upbringing...so many of us will miss her, and she will always be with you...but she is in Heaven now with her Hevenly Father, Phyllis, her grandparents, Francis and Gloria, Jennifer..and no doubt, she is playing that big Heavenly organ! God bless each one of you...

We have been blessed to know Joy and work with her in the  the Albright United Methodist Church Choir each week and as Docents with her at the Conoco Museum in Ponca City as well as accepting her invitation to Federated Music Club and DAR programs and Community Concert members. We will miss Joy, and pray that she is enJOYing the music in Heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.  I went to NOJC with Joy and loved spending time with her.  In Nov., 2008 I had a quick lunch with her at Macdonald's in Ponca.  I was visiting from Denver and ran into her.  She looked wonderful and we had such a nice time. She rushed off to her job at the Conoco museum.  She was truly a JOY!!!

With heartfelt sympathy my thoughts are with you.  I was so sad to learn of Joy's death.  Sheila was very kind to email me the information.
During the reunion parade, I saw Joy and Judy, but I didn't get to visit.  It was so much fun to see everyone at the reunion and to bring back fond memories.  Jan, I was so sorry you could not attend.
Fondly,  Lauralea

I was so sad to learn of Joy's sudden passing.  I'm a member of Albright UMC and a fellow member of the Church choir, so I've been privileged to hear Joy's musical talents for many years.  I'm working out of state right now, and cannot attend her service, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

I am saddened by Joy's death.  It's been over 30 years since I lived in Tonkawa, but my childhood was full of memories of the Asbury girls - just last weekend, going through an old family photo album, I saw pictures of Bob and Phyllis, and of the "3 J's" - they brought back fond memories of life in a small town, and of the wonderful Asbury family and what a great example they set for the rest of us.  My sincere condolences - Donna Roller Harris

Bob and Ann, Jan and Judy,
I was so sorry to hear the loss of Joy. My thoughts are with all of you at this time. I have wonderful memories of her coming over to the house and sitting on the front porch. We were so blessed to have great neighbors like you all. May your heart be filled with "joyous" memories.
