Ina Lavelle Jenkins, 84, of Tonkawa, Oklahoma,  passed away February 27, 2010 in the Willow Haven Nursing Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma.  Ina was born June 16, 1925 at Hollis, Oklahoma to J.O. and Vollie Whitman.  

Ina grew up in Oklahoma City graduating from Capitol Hill High School. She worked at Kerr's in Oklahoma City as a manicurist for twenty five years; then at Tinker Air Force Base till her retirement.  She moved to Tonkawa in 2000 making her home here until her death.  She was a member of the Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her children, Danine Anne Gregor, Terry Lee Hall, James C. Jenkins, Trudy Mae Rivard all of Oklahoma; her sister, Alva Zoe Walley;  numerous grandchildren and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Ina has request to be cremated with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Tonkawa Funeral Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
