Faye Phillips, 94, of Tonkawa, Oklahoma passed away March 1, 2008 in Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital, Blackwell, Oklahoma.  Faye was born October 21, 1913 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Archie F. and Ella (Robertson) Haven.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Tonkawa, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry King officiating.   Arrangements are under the direction of Tonkawa Funeral Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Faye grew up and attended school in Crescent, Oklahoma. She and Dutch moved to Kay county fifty three years ago and they owned and operated a salvage yard in Tonkawa and had a farm. Faye went to wielding school so she could work in their salvage yard.

She is survived by her sisters, Veda Kennedy of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Irma Schmidt, Vara Henderson and her husband, Tom, and Wanda Misenhimer all of Wichita, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends in Tonkawa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. (Dutch) Phillips, July 8, 1976; her parents, Archie and Ella; her brothers, Darrell and Newel Haven; her sisters, Mamie Richardson, Florita LaSuer, and Arna Hollingsworth.

Memorial may be made to the charity of choice in care of Tonkawa Funeral Home, 400 E Grand Ave, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
