
Debra “Debbie” K. McDaniel, 54, of Ponca City,
Oklahoma passed away at her daughters’ home December
8, 2009. Debbie was born September 18, 1955 in Ponca
City to Richard and Virginia (Groom) Price.
Debbie attended school
in Ponca City and then became a Nurses Aid working
at the Ponca City Nursing Home.
Debbie loved to go for
walks and just see what was going on in different
places. She liked relaxing on the porch, drinking a
glass of ice water talking with friends; also
reading and working puzzles.
Funeral Services will
be Friday, December 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the
First Free Will Baptist Church, Ponca City with Rev.
David Bigger officiating. Interment will follow in
the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Ponca City. Arrangements
are under the directions of Tonkawa Funeral Home,
Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be
Jimmy Cross, Bill Hastings, Jacob Parker and William
Sills.
Memorials may be made
to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in care of
Tonkawa Funeral Home, 400 E. Grand Ave., Tonkawa,
Oklahoma 74653.
Debbie is survived by
her daughter, Karen Bookout and her husband, Michael
of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her son, Doug Dwayne
Sullivan of Rogers, Arkansas; her grandchildren,
Cody, Jamie, Brandon and Holly Bookout all of Ponca
City, Oklahoma, Doug Jr. and Landon Sullivan both of
Rogers, Arkansas; her sisters, Brenda Price of Ponca
City, Oklahoma and Theresa Price of Omaha, Nebraska;
her brothers, Richard “RC” and Gene Price both of
Ponca City, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Debbie is preceded in
death by her parents.
