
Charlene
Phyllis Bouchard, 56, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed
away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at her home. She
was born June 4, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles
and Phyllis (Pulsifer) Frisbie.
Charlene grew up in Maple Heights, a suburb of
Cleveland, Ohio. She attended school in Maple
Heights through the eleventh grade and graduated
from Manteo High School on the Outer Banks of North
Carolina.
Charlene married John Bouchard on February 13, 1973
in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was
baptized March 4, 1973 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses
and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses in Ponca City. She enjoyed bible study and
sharing her faith with others.
Charlene and John moved to Oklahoma around 1974. She
got her Associate’s Degree from Northern Oklahoma
College in Tonkawa and was an Administrative
Assistant there for seventeen years before retiring
in 2008.
Charlene is survived by her husband, John Bouchard
of the home; her daughters, Sheray Pointer and her
husband Ty and Kristi Bouchard, all of Ponca City,
Oklahoma; a sister, Pamela Hill and her husband, Jim
of Ponca City, Oklahoma; cousin Ronald Bradley and
wife Lesa of Yorba Linda, California; Aunt Carmen
Bradley of Orange, California; and numerous other
relatives.
Charlene is preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, September
19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ponca City, with Angelus Owili-Eger officiating.
